Sylvia Kind's art installation consists of children's clothing printed with black and white photographs.
Trousers and pleated dresses depict the personhood of each child.
Prints of faded photographs are a vision of the told stories.
Within the presence of the child there lives a story;
parts that others will come to know, and parts that will remain silent.
Art and personhood are alike in that.
It's an honour to be a part of another's story;
a privilege to be the listener when one's silence is voiced.
