It is an oddity for some to find our family placed inside the gates and through the doors, and often the question arises, "What are you doing here?" In December, the given response was simple: "doing life with others", for surely our response would become more poignant over time.
But four months later it remains the same.
There are people who walk through those revolving doors who have come to change lives and make a difference. They leave six days later feeling content. No dynamic change is evident, but for certain another layer of generosity and selflessness has been laid upon others with their open hearts and unclenched hands.
It serves to wonder how it is often not one grand event that changes a life, but the layering upon layering that evolves a soul.
